Mr. Gallo received his undergraduate degree from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota. In 1991, he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice . In 1996, Mr. Gallo graduated from Baylor University School of Law located in Waco, Texas. Baylor University School of law is known for creating some of the best trial attorneys in the United States. Mr. Gallo was taught Practice Court and the art of trial tactics by the famous, now retired, professor Louis Muldrow. On November 1, 1996, he was licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.

After graduation, Mr. Gallo worked for a brief stint as a criminal defense attorney in McLennan County, Texas. In March of 1997, he was hired as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney in Navarro County, Texas. His main responsibilities included prosecuting misdemeanor criminal offenses as well as writing and arguing appeals before the 10th Court of Appeals in Waco, Texas. Two years later, he was hired as an Assistant County and District Attorney for Ellis County, Texas. As a felony prosecutor his primary caseload involved probation revocation hearings and the prosecution of miscellaneous felony offenses including D.W.I., Theft, and Drug cases. He also was in charge of both the asset seizure and bond forfeiture collection programs.

In October 2000, Mr. Gallo left the Ellis County District Attorney's Office and went into private practice. His practice consists exclusively of criminal defense work. While the vast majority of his caseload is in Ellis County, he also accepts cases in Navarro County.
